SCI has become a key player in iBMS (Integrated Building Management Systems) service delivery within the UK building industry. We have built a highly skilled and experienced technical team dedicated to delivering innovative iBMS solutions and services to the construction industry and end users. We work closely with our clients, providing a process-driven, quality, turn-key delivery of iBMS solutions through accountability and detailed reporting of key performance drivers.
Since our founding in 2000, SCI has become the complete iBMS service provider, encompassing CNS (Converged Network Services) and MSI (Master Systems Integration) service provisions within a unique delivery model tailored to each project and business sector we operate. From our Designers and Project Managers to our Installation and Commissioning Teams, we undertake all aspects of the iBMS. Our skilled Project Management team provides single-point accountability for design, installation, commissioning, and service support for all complex Building Automation requirements. Our clients can benefit from our turn-key model when a CNS IP architecture is specified. Our process model future-proofs installations, provides cost efficiencies in delivery and protects the programme during MEP systems commissioning when compared with conventional UK procurement methods.
SCI has been appointed iBMS and CNS specialists working in partnership with T Clarke, HDR and Echelon Data Centres. SCI was appointed both packages due to our unrivalled experience in this sector and unique delivery model that protects the commissioning programme on such fast-track projects. The converged network architecture encompasses business critical fibre and copper infrastructure throughout the facility, in which all critical systems reside. In addition to passive infrastructure, SCI are also delivering active and overseeing site-wide pre-staging and device onboarding for all site-wide MEP critical systems that reside on the CNS. BMS design and engineering include N+1 resilience for MEP plant throughout the facility with coordination of AV systems, visual displays, and IP infrastructure within the clients’ central Network Operations Centre (NOC).
