Camden Town Hall Annexe

Camden Town Hall Annexe WC1

Set in a prime position adjacent to King’s Cross and St Pancras station in London, Camden Town Hall Annexe, WC1H 8EQ, was built in the 1970s.

The building is an iconic example of brutalist architecture, set over 9 floors.

This project comprised the refurbishment and redevelopment of the existing office and library building to provide a luxury hotel in addition to brand new retail, food and beverage outlets

SCI’s comprehensive sub-contract included provision of all resources, supervision, labour, plant, equipment, works and materials to carry out the Design, Manufacture, Supply, delivery, installation, offloading, distribution, and commissioning of the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Works Package BMS. This was a complex project, requiring one of our largest on-site teams. We provided a full turn-key BMS solution including an experienced project manager to progress the project.

Originally a 9-storey council office building, Camden Town Hall Annexe renovation was undertaken by by McLaren for Crosstree Real Estate Partners.

SCI were sub-contracted in January 2017, by MJL to design, install and commission the Trend based BMS for the building.

The project is nearing completion with our budget running at ~ £1,150,000. The 270 room boutique hotel, now named the New Standard Hotel will open for business in 2019.
