The HAVAS KX building at 3 Pancras Square, N1C 4AG incorporates an unusual and innovative interior design.  In a project spanning 26 weeks SCI were involved in a 6-floor BMS installation and fit-out of the building.

As an integrated marketing and communications company, HAVAS wanted the KX building to become home to more than 25 different creative agencies.  Having a work space where the multiple teams could collaborate creatively was a key design feature.  The building was developed to create large scale open space offices surrounding stylized concrete staircases. The core of the building now provides the ideal area for easy communication and team working. An impressive 60% of the floor plate is covered by open plan office space.

SCI started working for our client Structuretone at the HAVAS site in the autumn of 2016.  Subcontracted by MJL we designed the BMS which uses Trend IQEco controllers were to manage the system. SCI created the technical designs and project managed the BMS installation and commissioning. Our contract which was valued at £453,000 included completing the design and co-coordinating the services. Our QS team guided the design for the specialist systems for refrigerant systems, PLC/BMS and sprinklers.

In 2018, the HAVAS building won the regional British Council for Offices “Best Fit-Out of Workplace” Award. Find out more
